During my time at Cosmic Design, I had the opportunity to concept, design, and animate promotional content featured on the Lantern and Blade screens at Ottawa’s National Arts Centre. Shown is the primary animation promoting Come From Away, which ran in 2021.

After reviewing the approved key art and motion assets provided by the production, I analyzed the NAC’s Lantern and Blade screen template. I identified an opportunity to dedicate the Blade screens (the four rectangular displays in the lower right of the format) to key information and logos, allowing the Lantern—the primary screen—to focus entirely on the narrative animation.

Following the success of the initial 2021 campaign, the National Arts Centre returned to us annually to create promotional animations supporting each season’s headline productions.
In 2023, we developed a new animation for Frozen. On this project, I focused primarily on motion design execution, with less involvement in the storyboarding phase.
In 2024, I led the motion design—from concept through final delivery—for two animations promoting The Lion King.
In 2025, I again led the motion design process from concept to completion for an animation supporting Hamilton, available upon request.
